In his everyday life, an elevator boy is confronted with the loneliness and the "up and down" of his service. When he tries to attract the attention of his guests, he makes a very different, gloomy encounter with himself.

“… it might not have been a question of right and wrong. Which is to say that wrong choices can produce right results, and vice versa.” – Murakami Haruki

Nothing Happens (Michelle Kranot, Uri Kranot, DK, 12')

"It’s freezing cold in the city suburbs. Yet some people are gathering. I watch them form a row across the horizon. We are all waiting for something to happen. But nothing does…
We have gathered to witness an event. To participate in being seen. The spectacle of watching and being watched."

Death of a Fruit Fly (Lukas von Berg, DE, 4')

A tiny fruit fly gets swatted. Against all odds, it defies death in its very own way.

Youo will be fine (Céline Devaux, FR, 15')

Give it time. You'll get over it. Jean celebrates his birthday, gets drunk and recalls the dreadful weekend that led to his break-up with Mathilde.

To Build a Fire (Fx Goby, FR, 13')

Based on the famous novel of the same title by Jack London, the film is a tragic tale of a man and his dog trying to survive in the overwhelmingly freezing and hostile nature of the Yukon Territory. Enter into this polar western world, and experience the bitter cold whilst embarking on a sensory journey.

The Burden (Niki Lindroth von Bahr, SE, 14')

A dark musical enacted in a modern market place, situated next to a large freeway. The employees of the various commercial venues, portrayed as animals, deal with boredom and existential anxiety by performing cheerful musical turns. The apocalypse is a tempting liberator.
