Within the official cinema circles of the Soviet Union, animation was mainly targeted towards toddlers, young children, and teenagers. Here, on the other hand, the artists had clearly used children-oriented cartoons as a means of artistic expression, and experimented with the possibilities of the film medium in general and this created a discrepancy. These selected films appear as fragmented manifestations of post-Second World War youth culture that also filtered into the 'wrong side' of the Iron Curtain.

The program consists of the following short films:

Jänes / Rabbit, r: Ando Keskküla 1976, 10’
Pühapäev / Sunday, r: Avoi Paistik, 1977, 9’
Lugu jänesepojast / The Story of the Bunny, r: Ando Keskküla, 1975, 8’
Tolmuimeja / Vacuum Cleaner, r: Avoi Paistik, 1978, 9’
Vrvilind / Colourbird, r: Rein Raamat, 1974, 7’
Lend / The Flight, r: Rein Raamat, 1973, 9’
Aatomik ja jõmmid / Atomic and Goons, r: Elbert Tuganov, 1970, 10’
