A young boy in modern-day Tokyo stumbles into an alternate dimension and becomes the apprentice to a bearlike warrior. A glorious film about the friendship between a boy and a mythical beast.

In the recent years Mamoru Hosoda became one of the most celebrated anime directors in Japan. Anilogue is proud to have followed his path to international recognition since one of his early movies, The Girl Who Lept Through Time. This is the fourth feature length animation by Hosoda to premiere on Anilogue.
