New Year’s Eve concert of Berliner Philharmoniker 2024

At the 2024 New Year’s Eve Concert, the star pianist Daniil Trifonov will perform Johannes Brahms’s magnificent Second Piano Concerto with the Berliner Philharmoniker and Kirill Petrenko. “He has everything and more – tenderness, but also darkness. I’ve never heard anything like it,” as Martha Argerich once described Daniil Trifonov. The concert will also feature splendidly orchestrated dance works by Richard Strauss: charming waltzes from Der Rosenkavalier and Salome’s Dance of the Seven Veils with its overt sensuality.
