Károly Makk was born 100 years ago

Set around the turn of the century, the location is a peaceful town with a neat brothel on its border. The girls are all crazy about one of their clients, the bohemian student Jenő Kelepei (György Cserhalmi), which is why Mutter (Irén Psota) suggests that the ‘doctor’ moves in with them. Kelepei’s idyllic days are rudely interrupted by the unexpected visit of his elderly mother (Margit Makay) from the countryside. The lady has no idea what sort of ‘institution’ her son is living in and the girls don’t want her to know, either, so under the guidance of Mutter they start acting. However, the pompous functionaries of the town still want to use the place according to its original function…
