A series of brutal crimes are committed in a small town nestled in the hills of France. The subsequent investigation uncovers ever darker secrets and an increasingly unsettling past. This 2000 crime thriller occasionally leaning towards the mystical teams up a lone wolf but professional Paris detective played by Jean Reno with the aspiring, instinctive and capable cop Vincent Cassel.
