In the early 1990s, 13-year-old Karolína, a gifted singer, joins a famous girls' choir with her sister. Her talent attracts the formidable choirmaster's attention. This drama recalls the Bambini di Praga case and similar situations where innocence meets abusive authority. Provazník sensitively portrays a world where prestige leads to premature maturity.
