Introduction: David Cronenberg, director

A chillingly prescient Cronenberg film. During the presentation of a game developed by Antenna, the great game designer Allegra is injured by a weapon firing teeth (a real Cronenberg concept). It is possible to connect to the game, eXisTenZ, with the aid of a weird bio-port controller. Allegra’s assistant is a security guard who needs to connect to the game to find out if the software has been corrupted. When did the game/does the game begin? What does gaming dependency actually mean? This film seeks answers to these questions.
