This creative documentary made five years after the death of Sergei Parajanov takes us into the world of the versatile Armenian film director. We get to see the drawings, paintings, collages and, of course, films (including excerpts of banned and uncompleted works) by the artist who lived a life fraught with adversity. Besides gaining insight into his vision and artistic creed through archive footage and documents, the film also presents personal reminiscences of this extraordinary artist from his friends, acquaintances and admirers.
