GETTING HERE

By public transport

The Uránia National Film Theatre is situated at a prominent point of the Budapest public transport system, between the metro stations (M2) of Astoria and Blaha Lujza tér (square). The “Uránia” bus stop right in front of its entrance is served by eight day-time and five night-time buses.

Bus no. 5 (it runs between Rákospalota, Kossuth street and Pasaréti tér)
Bus no. 7 (it runs between Újpalota, Nyírpalota street and Albertfalva railway station)
Bus no. 8 and A8 (they run between Bosnyák square and Gazdagréti square)
Bus no. 112 (it runs between Bosnyák square and Szendrő street)
Bus no. 178 (it runs between Keleti railway station and Naphegy square)

Night-time buses
Bus no. 907 (it runs between Örs vezér square and Kelenföld railway station)
Bus no. 908 (it runs between Cinkotai auto bus garage and Móricz Zsigmond körtér)
Bus no. 916 (it runs between Uránia and Széll Kálmán square)
Bus no. 931 (it runs between Árpádföld, Dezsőfia street and Verecke stairway)
Bus no. 956 (it runs between Pécel, Kun József street and Hűvösvölgy)
Bus no. 973 (it runs between Újpalota, Szentmihályi street and Nagytétény, industrial park)
