The movie traces the misadventures of a girl and her best friend, a dog, in a world of winners and losers, a world in which pedigree is a decisive factor. Though genuine affection can occasionally come out on top and rebel against an unjust fate. The film thus intends to defend hope for peace and the belief that the eternal war between higher and lower beings will one day be brought to an end.
