Director: Raitis Abele, Lauris Abele
In a 17th-century Livonian village, an ominous tension hangs in the air. Several inhabitants sense an approaching danger, from a frightened young errand boy to a tavern maid accused of witchcraft by the local pastor. During the ensuing trial, an elderly man proclaims himself a werewolf — not in the classical sense, but as a figure rooted in Latvian folklore, closer to a wild shaman than a monster. As fear and superstition escalate, the mounting conflict will forever change the village and those who survive. A pagan folk tale erupts into a grotesque, sexually charged clash between faith, instinct, and hysteria.
