Fecó can see; his parents are blind. The dramatic portrait of a family, spanning 19 years. This is the third installment of a trilogy. The first part – from Fecó’s birth to age eighteen months – deals with the dilemmas surrounding the decision of blind parents to have a baby. In the end, they triumph over the difficulties they have undertaken. Part two focuses on Fecó at ages 4-5 and 10-11, as his mind develops, along with the constantly emerging challenges centered around his parents’ blindness. We get to know a child who is able to solve difficult situations with a childlike attitude, while also being precocious and in all ways different from his peers, his mind full of more adult-like issues. In the third part, when Fecó is 17-19, his parents’ blindness takes a back seat in his life. Now, it is the parent-child relationship that comes into focus, and the fact that he is the son of blind parents is less important.
