A társadalom abszurditásaira mindig elemző, ám elfogadó attitűddel tekintő Corneliu Porumboiu (Rendészet, nyelvészet, Amikor Bukarestre száll az éj) immár második sport-témájú dokumentumfilmjét készíti el, amely nem más, mint egy futballfantáziákba menekülő futballsérült különös portréja. Laurențiu Ghinghină szürke hivatalnok a rendező szülővárosában, szabadidejében viszont a futball felkent lovagja, aki évtizedek óta megszállottan foglalkozik a sportág szabályainak (a pálya, a térfelek, a csapatok…) újragondolásával. A rendhagyó portréfilm a Berlinale programjában mutatkozott be, a Jeruzsálemi Nemzetközi Filmfesztiválon pedig elnyerte a legjobb dokumentumfilm díját.
