Nora is a young actress with a promising future, the two pillars of her life: her grandmother Magüi and her mother Cecilia had great careers in entertainment. But Nora discovers that her mother keeps a secret that has marked her for life.

Nora, joven actriz con un futuro prometedor, hace equilibrios entre los dos pilares de su vida: su abuela Lilith, que hoy retirada reinó durante décadas como gran dama del teatro, y su madre Cecilia, cuya trayectoria profesional languidece tras haber tocado cierta gloria en los cabarets canallas de los 80. Como en el drama chejoviano de La Gaviota, los celos, el amor mal entendido y la mutua dependencia fluyen entre ellas. Es en este periodo dulce de la carrera de Nora cuando descubre que su madre guarda un secreto que la ha marcado de por vida. Ópera prima de la escritora de Manolito gafotas, Elvira Lindo.
