The state of Footbolia is threatened by a potential government crisis because its national team is on a losing streak. The president orders Admiral Duca to negotiate a contract – at any price – with the star striker of the Hungarian team that is playing in Switzerland. While in the country, Duca (László Ungvári) accidentally gets his player mixed up with a flat-footed fraudster (Imre Pongrácz) who cannot say no to the massive payday offer. The fear is that there will be a revolution during the disastrous match... The satire was not banned but three scenes were reshot with Nándor Hidegkúti replacing Ferenc Puskás who defected in 1956. The restoration features the original Puskás version.

An early agitprop gem of Hungarian puppet animation featuring characters typical of 1950s films, gullible ‘reactionaries’ concerned only about their own wellbeing. The story has a director needing fake snow for his movie Duck in the Snow; off he drives to the local corner store where by buys up a large quantity of naphthalene. Seeing this unusual mass purchase, a blabbermouth janitor begins to spread a false rumour around town that the health ministry is covering up an epidemic, the only cure for which is… naphthalene.
