Films in the screening:

The Girl Who Wasn't Afraid of Bears | Dekle, ki se ni balo medvedov
2025, Slovenia, 20'
Director: Lea Vučko
In a silent animated folktale rooted in Balkan mythology and told with the starkness of a feminist western, a young girl escapes the roles forced on her by disguising herself as a man. On her journey, she outwits devils, slays beasts, and earns the respect of kings—proving to the world that she has no fear. But her final test comes when she meets a shapeshifting dragon who sees what she’s tried to hide all along. The Girl Who Wasn’t Afraid of Bears is a story about courage, identity, and the quiet cost of becoming what the world expects.

Prout | Prout
2025, Belgium, 8'
Director: Marc-Henri Wajnberg
Obsolete household appliances and waste of all kinds are sent to the planet Prout, Earth's dumping ground. Bean and Spaghet, two little emergency workers from this strange planet, go on an emergency mission to save one of their friends who has been crushed by debris falling from the sky.

SHORTS FROM THE BOX - Wild Things | SHORTS FROM THE BOX - Wild Things
2025, Hungary, 9'
Director: Géza M. Tóth
When I was a child, I often heard that "man can conquer nature." Today, I know that nature as a whole can never be conquered. Fortunately!

Eureka! | Eureka!
2024, Belgium, 10'
Director: Kris Borghs
An extra-terestial duo crosses the universe to share technological insights with less brilliant minds. On one peculiar planet, things don't quite go as planned.

Duck&Sauerkraut | Canard & Choucroute
2025, Switzerland, 10'
Director: Eloi Henriod
Sauerkraut is lonely and bored. A hungry duck flies past. Sauerkraut sees the duck as a remedy for his loneliness. The duck sees Sauerkraut as a meal.
