TIME is a dystopian and darkly whimsical animated short, unfolding in fragmented vignettes where characters collide – each caught in their own rhythm of time. From the seemingly endless drift of an hourglass to the frantic pulse of a multitasking worker, the film paints a surreal mosaic of how time is perceived, stretched, fractured, and consumed.

At the beginning of autumn, a squirrel prepares its reserves for winter, harvesting acorns, chestnuts and hazelnuts. As he finishes his inventory, he realizes that he is missing one nut. When he finds it, a crow flies at him, triggering a frantic chase through the branches in the forest.

A boy lives surrounded by an oppressive cacophony of sounds, within a dysfunctional family. A day at the beach might be the long-expected opportunity for a break from a hellish existence. The boy dreams of playing with his bucket and shovel in the sand, by the sea, but it is not easy to reach the destination. If they arrive at the beach, will they enjoy a peaceful day or will they face something unexpected?
