Director: Pablo Berger
Film adaptation of Sara Varon's world-famous comic book.
Dog and Robot are the best friends in the world. One beautiful day they decide to go to the beach, but by the end of the day Robot has completely rusted and becomes unable to move. His friend, not knowing what else to do, leaves him behind. As the seasons pass, Dog tries — with some success — to find new friends, while Robot has no choice but to escape into dreams of more ideal situations. Robot Dreams is a film adaptation of Sara Varon’s world-famous graphic novel. The film is directed by Pablo Berger, one of the leading figures of contemporary Spanish cinema, previously known for award-winning films such as Torremolinos 73, Blancanieves, and Abracadabra. At Anilogue, we welcome the film’s art director, José Luis Ágreda, as our guest.
