Priit Pärn Retrospective 1

26 november 2022 22:00 - 23:00

Location: Fábri terem

Night of the Carrots
Priit Pärn, Estonia, 1998, 30'

In a world where rabbits rule the world, they are attempting a secret plot in an entity called “PGI”. Meanwhile, the residents of “PGI” are caught up in their own dreams. The hope that remains is the “Night of the Carrots” miracle. The film was made when it was anticipated that an impending catastrophe was about and is a reflection of that.

1985
Priit Pärn, Estonia, 1995, 30'

A fictional account of the Lumiere brothers and the birth of cinema. The issue with this is that the story is more interesting than the facts behind it. This film’s message is that cinema itself tempts us with interesting lies that the viewers choose to believe.

The films are shown in the original language with English subtitles.

We do not recommend watching the program for people under the age of 18.
