Celebrate Hungarian films with us on April 30!

30 april 2024 13:15 - 22:30

30 April has been Hungarian Film Day since 2018. It commemorates the fact that on this Spring day in 1901, the first Hungarian film (a bunch of one-minute-reels) was screened: The Dance (A táncz) shot by Béla Zsitkovszky. Hungarian film was born and since then, in all periods of these more than 120 years, many talented filmmakers have ensured immortality for Hungarian movies.
