The Influence of Schematism on Soviet Cinema

An attempt to revive the legendary 1988–89 film club at the Műcsarnok, led by the original curators.

This year, Magyarhangya pays tribute to the film club titled “The Influence of Stalinist Schematism on Soviet Cinema, 1936–1953,” which began 38 years ago at the Műcsarnok: From July through October, we will screen six Soviet films.

The films are screened from original 35mm prints.
